This weekend’s weather likely put many in mind for Summer nights spent on the water and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Marblehead Harbor filled a bit more after some additional warm days this week.  As the harbor is still a bit empty to be as photogenic as it becomes in the Summer, I decided to look through my archive for an image to share this morning.

This one comes from July 22, 2015 and a warm Summer evening with a gently breeze that you can see in the waving flags aboard the two launch boats parked at the Eastern Yacht Club’s float.  The late Summer sun casts a beautiful golden glow over the boats moored in the harbor and Marblehead Light is seen jutting over the top of the Corinthian Yacht Club in the distance.
