A lot can happen in two minutes…  That was the duration of time between Tuesday’s post and today’s image capturing the peak of the afterglow. At this point the sky erupted in an explosion of light with brilliant oranges washing the sky and reflecting in the water of Marblehead Harbor.

The light hit its peak one minute later with the first shot I shared on that Sunday night.

Hope you enjoyed the week of sunset images (and the extended afterglow) as much as I did taking them.
