On Wednesday April 1st, I woke early to capture the first light of the new month hoping this one would not last as long as March had. I started off at the Landing and then continued down Fort Street with a quick stop at the Barnacle and then in front of Fort Beach before turning onto Fort Beach Lane and then continuing onto Orne Street. I pulled up in front of the Little Harbor Lobster Company but found the angle of the sun too far to the left and then continued on Beacon Street as it curved past Grace Oliver Beach.

I decided this was my spot and parked just in time to run down to the outflow platform and set up my tripod to capture this Gracey sunrise as a tight composition balanced by the silhouette of Brown’s Island. I stayed her for a bit before heading back up Beacon to the next stop which I’ll share next week…
