I was pretty happy after capturing the double rainbow over the causeway but, since the clouds were sticking around, I figured I would wait until the sun set. Exactly 30 minutes after shooting the panorama from the causeway, I was rewarded for my patience with an incredible sunset.

You can just make out the last remnants of the rainbow touching the clouds which had reached what I thought was peak color over the Atlantic ocean. I packed up after this shot thinking the light was done and headed back home only to make one more stop when the clouds exploded in shades of pink. Stay tuned for that shot and an earlier one from Chandler Hovey Park coming next week.
