A nice comparison to Tuesday’s image is this one captured from the Boston Yacht Club on July 14th as the sun was starting to set over Marblehead Harbor. As opposed to Tuesday’s tight crop at 224mm causing the boats to appear stacked, this one taken at a very wide 28mm sets them further apart.

The light in the sky was just starting to form at this point and would become far stronger as the night progressed but there was something about this image and the way the light reflected on the water below that made it a keeper in my mind.
