I mentioned in yesterday’s post that I had gone out on Saturday night to capture the sunset which proceeded to explode in color well after the sun had dipped below the horizon.  This image comes from my first location at the Pleon Yacht Club and just as the sun set.

I had gone down to the float to capture the diffused sunlight as it reflected off the water in Marblehead harbor.  With boats filling the harbor and beautiful light, this seemed to be yet another perfect depiction of Summer in Marblehead.

* I normally would have cloned out the contrail but felt it actually added a bit to this scene so I left it in.
