Continuing with the look back at September, this image was taken on September 11, 2013. Marblehead was treated to dense fog on this particular morning and, rather than quickly dissipate after sunrise, the fog on this day stayed and stayed. I ended up shooting scenes of Marblehead Harbor bathed in fog from four different locations.
As the sun rose, it added a beautiful orange light to the thick fog and, in this scene, you can make out a few boats in the harbor (and not much else) under the bright early morning sun.
