Back to the photo shoot on September 28 after yesterday’s brief hiatus to capture scenes of Vermont’s foliage.  I explained in Monday and Tuesday’s posts that I had gone out on Sunday to capture views of our Indian Summer.  Well, after shooting around Little Harbor, I had made my way to Corinthian Lane hoping for a nice sunset.

As the sun set below the horizon, I made my way down to the beach and captured this scene with boats still filling Marblehead Harbor.  With the cold wet weather of the past two days, it’s only a matter of time before the boats begin leaving for their Winter homes and we are left with those empty moorings to remind us of warmer days ahead…
