For today’s image we return to the night of July 5th and the incredible display of fog that descended on Marblehead harbor as sunset approached. This was the last of several images captured in the span of an hour while running around Chandlery Hovey Park exploring compositions.
At this point, the sun had slipped behind the tree line and the sky took on the color of purple fog. I composed this image to include the boats moored near the mouth of the harbor and caught a small Townie class boat heading in using what little wind afforded them some semblance of speed.
