Do you remember that Storm Chasing image I shared in mid-September? This is what I had been after that day. Great cumulus clouds were forming over Marblehead Harbor and I drove out to try to capture the scene of the harbor filled with boats under a beautiful sky.
By the time I reached this spot, the clouds seemed to be chased by rapidly darkening sky. I only managed two frames before the darkness caught up to and seemed to consume these fluffy white clouds. I wasn’t long before I would race out to Chandler Hovey Park and capture the storm that was barreling toward us.
This remains a favorite shot of Marblehead harbor at the peak of occupancy before the inevitable pulling of boats begins.
