I shared an image of the sunset over Marblehead Harbor on Tuesday that came from a shoot on August 19th.  This image was taken about an hour earlier and it seemed like a good time to share it as well.

I’ve taken very few images from the small park that stands on the Marblehead Neck side of the causeway.  It is a great spot with views of the ocean and Boston (on a clear day) and has nice benches that seem to beg visitors to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.  While there, I noticed the interesting lines that were formed by the causeway and lamp posts and how the two sides (Atlantic Ocean on one and Marblehead Harbor on the other) were so different.  It was with that in mind that I composed this image.  The gentle breeze helped keep the flags waving and clinched the scene.
