On November 3rd, the same night during which I captured the causeway and harbor under great light and a clammer in the ocean, I also found this guy surfing in the waters off Devereux Beach.  As he came out of the water around sunset, I found the human element added greatly to the view of Marblehead Neck beyond.  I captured this frame with the surfboard parallel to the ground and reflecting some light which helped focus the viewers eye on the relatively small surfer and thereby add a sense of scale to the scene beyond.

With the waves, great low-lying clouds and awesome early November sunset colors, the addition of a human element seemed to lift the scene from the beautiful to maybe just a bit more.
