The Harvest Moon rose last night and I had planned out a perfect vantage point to capture it.  Then I noticed the clouds at the horizon and had to quickly come up with a plan B.  Turns out that plan B was waiting on the corner of Village Street and Highland Terrace.  I carefully maneuvered the camera to the top of the fence while on my tiptoes and used it as a makeshift tripod while grabbing this shot.  The moon ended up rising a bit too early and too fast so it lacked the color typical of the Harvest Moon.  That may show up tonight as sunset and moonrise will both occur right around 6pm but the forecast for rain makes the prospects of capturing it somewhat dim.
