This Long Exposure Tuesday features an image of Abbot Hall taken in late March of this year.  I had set out on a windy day with great clouds in the sky to try to capture some images of buildings in town.  I had good luck with the direction of the clouds as they sailed over Our Lady Star of the Sea (LINK) and the Jeremiah Lee Mansion (LINK) but found them going the ‘wrong’ way over Abbot.  I only had this angle to shoot given the direction of the sun and was getting discouraged until I spied this one cloud coming closer.  It seemed like it just might come up over the clock tower and I set about composing the image to capture it.  Timing was perfect and the cloud hit at just the right spot to leave me happy with the efforts of fighting those incredible winds.
