One last image of snow for this week and one more from the Blizzard of 2013 (aka Nemo). When all was said and done, Nemo had left us with over 2 feet of snow to dig out of. However, one of the small rewards of these massive storms is that you are almost guaranteed a beautiful sunset when they finally depart. Such was the case with this nor’easter and I headed across the causeway and onto Ocean Avenue to capture this view of incredible color as the storm ended.
As you can see from the waves in the Atlantic and the blowing snow in the foreground, it was quite windy even after the storm had ended. I hunkered down with the camera secured on a weighted tripod for this image. You can just make out the Boston skyline in the distance and the battered lobster traps seem to have been placed in just the right spots for this composition.
