At the end of November, I left the house before sunset in hopes of capturing some nice evening light. In the hour of shooting, I would come away with eight images to share. And yet, this is the first one I have posted to the site.
I started off capturing some great pink/purple clouds over the harbor and then crossed the causeway as the sun was setting to see if the light might be right for an image from the small (unnamed) park and bench at the start of Marblehead Neck. Before I made it to the park though, I noticed a couple out with a similar idea. I quickly realized that I might be able to get a panorama image including someone shooting the sunset to add a sense of scale and a human touch to the image.
With the nice light of sunset and the clear view of Boston skyline, the final image seemed to capture the feel of enjoying one of the great views that the town of Marblehead offers.
