It had been exactly one month since I last went out to capture images in Marblehead.  And so, around sunset, I decided to head out and see if the clouds that had built up over the past few hours might lead to a decent sunset.  I drove across the causeway and looked back only to find the sky too overcast to let through much light.  The clouds over the harbor had some interesting structures though so I crossed and headed down to the water at Riverhead beach.

I walked along the water so that I could place some distance between the working boats in the harbor.  I set up for a vertical shot to include as much of the sky as possible and then spotted a seagull crossing into the frame.  Though the light never materialized, I still enjoyed a few minutes out capturing the beauty of this town.
