The final image from Friday night’s outing at Riverhead Beach and the peak of sunset light over Marblehead Harbor. I hadn’t moved between the three images shared this week except to adjust the focal length of the camera’s lens and slightly adjust the camera on the tripod’s ballhead to change compositions.
It never ceases to amaze me just how much the light will change in a matter of minutes and such was the case on this night as the earlier golden light gave way to a pink/orange/red mix that reflected off and seemed to set the clouds on fire. The light was so vibrant that it even reflected in the choppy waters of Marblehead Harbor.
This sequence of images captured at sunset from the Marblehead Neck side of Riverhead Beach reminds me that Summer is nearly upon us. Can’t wait to capture more vibrant Summer sunsets in the weeks to come.
