This will be the last new image I share in 2018 (I think) as I plan to start my Top 10 of 2018 countdown on Monday. That will lead up to the annual New Years Day slideshow looking back at all of the images shared on Wednesdays in Marblehead in the past year.
Today’s image comes from the morning after yesterday’s first snow of the season. We ended up getting quite a bit of snow that day and I was surprised to find Redd’s Pond to have nearly frozen when I arrived to shoot the sunrise the next morning. As it happened, there was just enough water remaining to serve as a perfect reflection of the red house across the pond and the beautiful morning sky.
I haven’t been out for a sunrise shoot in quite some time. Images like this remind me how much fun those outings can be.
