The same storm that brought about the reflection shots of the lighthouse also produced a rainbow over Children’s Island. I had raced out of the house after the storm blew by in hopes of catching a rainbow and got to the parking lot at Chandler Hovey park just as the sun peeked through the clouds. The location of the rainbow was perfect – it was an unusually flat one likely due to the angle of the sun – and neatly covered Children’s Island. The rainbow lasted only a few minutes and I felt lucky to have captured it.
