I was able to realize two images this week that had been long in the planning. The first was the causeway’s lamp posts in the fog. This was the other. I had found myself on Harbor View Lane over the Summer and noted this simple composition of the causeway, ocean and sunset. At the time, there were several boats moored in the way and I resigned myself to wait. On Saturday, I spent some time photographing various store fronts in Old Town as part of Small Business Saturday and my Keep it Local friday series. Afterwards, I headed back to Harbor View Lane and was rewarded with this sunset.
I waited until the lights turned on and captured this simple but beautiful scene with the calm waters of the Atlantic highlighting the colors of sunset.
