You know you are dealing with an incredible sunset when a pair of cranes grab your attention and become the focal point of an image. I had never imagined taking a picture of the two cranes that stand at the end of this pier off Foster Street but then I never saw light as incredible as on this Wednesday evening.
With the low-lying fog bank on Marblehead Harbor and the explosion of colors overhead, I kept moving from one spot to the next trying to capture the incredible light before me. As I moved to cross from one side to the other, I turned my head and saw this scene before me.
I centered the tripod in the middle of the large pier and captured this image featuring the two cranes at sunset overlooking Marblehead Harbor.
