With Thanksgiving upon us, it is time to give thanks. Wednesdays in Marblehead began in August 2010 as a personal project through which I hoped to learn more about this town that we had recently moved to. From the start and to this day, I have taken images for myself. Every single photo captures a moment in which I went out in search of something new to explore in this relatively small town. I am so thankful that we moved here in 2008 and that this project has been so welcomed by Marbleheaders new and old.
A quick check on Google Analytics shows that, since this site began, 45,000 people have visited and looked at over 170,000 pages. The Facebook page is followed by over 2,800 people.
This year, with the help of 271 backers, I was able to publish the Wednesdays in Marblehead book. The response has been nothing short of incredible with over 1,000 copies sold in the first 4 months! The book is now available in nine stores around town as well as through my website.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me through comments, likes, emails and especially by purchasing a book, calendar or print over these past 4 years.
Stay tuned for a special announcement tomorrow about a big Black Friday sale…
