Not long after capturing Glover’s Regiment on the stage at the State Street Landing, I watched them load up into this boat and reenact the crossing of the Delaware. I shot frame after frame as they crossed in front of Marblehead Light and then watched them pause in front of the Eastern Yacht Club.
As I watched through the viewfinder, I spotted one member of the regiment approach the bow and captured this image as he fired a shot back toward shore. It looked as though Glover’s Regiment were the guardians of the Eastern – ready to take on all who might try to pass.
Love it
I love this town. Thanks for capturing the moment, Eyal.
These photos make my day (and make me feel at home miles away) thank you for sharing and taking these!
Another of your delightful photos!!! Thanks!
I am an Ol’ Header living 1 town away from Washington Crossing PA. Often attend the reenactment of George and Glover’s Marblehead fisherman crossing the Delaware to face the Hussians at Trenton. I used to wear my father’s long Marblehead football overcoat! There is a monument at the Park crediting Marblehead’s contribution to that great victory. Proud to be connected to both places!
This is great!

WOW!
Yash Gudimani is this colonial enough for Caroline Farrell ?
Very nice, Betty!
