Marblehead Harbor Under a Dramatic Sky at Sunset

As I mentioned in Monday's post, I had been feeling the urge to go out and shoot a landscape image on Saturday when I looked out the window and saw these great clouds forming at 7pm. With the taciturn approval of my wife, I grabbed my gear and ran out of the house. My first stop was one of my favorite public ways - Parker Avenue. Sun Rays over Marblehead Skyline

On Saturday, a series of storms barreled through New England. As they passed, I noticed that the clouds overhead seemed to fly by and I decided to head out for some long exposure shots. I drove across the causeway and then stopped at Castle Rock to watch the crashing waves for a while. I then headed to Chandler Hovey park in hopes of getting the clouds drifting over the lighthouse.
