Have I mentioned how much I love the light that comes with Winter?  In late December, I woke up early with the goal of revisiting Castle Rock for a dawn photoshoot.  I had last done this in the Summer of 2010 and felt it was long overdue.  The tide was just about perfect and I set up with my tripod on the loose rocks that double as a beach.

The hardest part about this was trying to balance the longish shutter speed to give some movement to the waves while maintaining a good depth of field.  This is the first of three shots from this morning and the moon in the sky really clinched it as a favorite.
