Following the purple dawn and a deep red sky, the sun began its slow ascent just to the left of the lighthouse at Chandler Hovey park.  This was shot from Hammond park and the clouds were doing a great job of magnifying this already amazing scene.  I can’t believe my good fortune to have those wisps of clouds line the red sun as it made its way up.

This the third of five posts this week documenting an incredible sunrise over Marblehead harbor.  This seemed a perfect way to lead up to my entry in the Marblehead Festival of the Arts as well as a showing of my photos at Lost + Found in Five Corners.  Lost + Found will be having a reception on Saturday, July 2nd from 6:30-9:30 – I hope to see you there and meet some of my readers in person!
