This past August featured some incredible sunsets that formed over Marblehead Harbor.  I tried to capture as many as I could and was amazed at how much the colors would vary from day to day.

This particular sunset took place on August 19th.  I decided to shoot from the Pleon launch but, at the last minute, walked down to the float on the water to get a different vantage point.  From this view at water level, the boats in Marblehead harbor took on a larger part of the composition and the light reflected deeper into the frame.  I made sure to include the dinghy to the left with the huge American flag.
