Fall Colors and Abbot Hall

On October 26, I had headed out to capture the Halloween Race in the harbor. After shooting the boats with their multicolored sails passing in front of Abbot Hall, I decided to head across the causeway and over to Crocker Park for one last check of the Fall colors. I found some trees had turned earlier than others and this particular one on the left side of the screen was displaying some great color. Through the Woods and Under the Trees

Fall Colors on Marblehead Neck

October brought with it cool nights and changing colors to the trees in Marblehead. I would go out periodically looking for new vantage points from which to capture those beautiful Fall colors. November Sunset over the Causeway

We had some incredible sunsets to mark the beginning of November. Friday's was breathtaking but I had to resign myself to enjoy it from my car as I made it home too late to get the camera and still capture those amazing colors. Fall in Marblehead – Peak Foliage on Brown’s Island

Fall in Marblehead – Through the Woods and Over the Bridge

As you have hopefully been able to see, Wednesday October 23rd offered perfect conditions to capture peak Fall foliage in Marblehead. I started off at Tedesco, then drove over to Ware pond, headed up to the pond at Whittier Road and then came up on this scene on Beacon Street. Fall in Marblehead – The Pond off Whittier Road

When you think of perfect Fall scenes, a few elements come to mind - peak foliage on the trees, water to reflect those perfect Fall hues, blue skies with a hint of clouds, maybe a bench to sit on and take in the view....oh and a fountain...definitely a fountain! Fall in Marblehead – Fallen Leaves on the Path to Ware Pond

The next stop on this outing to capture peak Fall colors in Marblehead from Wednesday, October 23rd was Ware Pond. Fall in Marblehead – Perfect Morning for Golf at Tedesco Country Club

On Wednesday, October 23rd, the Town of Marblehead seemed primed to display peak Fall foliage colors. I had been scouting locations for two weeks and the conditions seemed perfect on this Fall morning to venture out and capture them all. Changing Colors at Crocker Park

I mentioned over the Summer that I happened upon a new composition including this tree's canopy and Abbot Hall one morning when I was out on a sunrise shoot.
