My best friend from college came to visit this weekend and on Sunday we decided to head out with my kids to Crocker Park. I hadn't photographed my kids in weeks so I grabbed the camera thinking I would get a few nice shots of them outside. Long Exposure – Sun Rays over Marblehead Harbor

Today's long exposure image was taken back in April 2012. The Spring is a great time to photograph the harbor as clouds are not an uncommon site and the waters remain free of boats allowing for longer exposures. With a full harbor, the odds of keeping boats sharp with exposures stretching to seconds and minutes become very small. Long Exposure – From the Top of Fountain Park

Long Exposure – Rocks in a Milky Harbor

Tuesday means another Long Exposure image. This one comes from last Wednesday morning on an ill-fated attempt to shoot sea smoke. Frozen Marblehead Harbor under Sunset’s Light

Cold Dawn over Marblehead Neck

Yesterday, January 23rd, was slated to be our first near-zero degree day in a while. Dawn of a New Year in Marblehead

2012 began with a sunrise shoot from the roof of the Old North Church. Abbot Hall Standing Over an Empty Harbor

Summer Sunset over Marblehead Harbor

I miss Summer sunsets. There is something about the light that time of year that causes near explosions of color to take over the sky. This is an image from June 2011 that has been waiting in the queue and was recently reprocessed to bring out more of the details in the boats and Abbot Hall in the distance.
